About the Author

Bernie Schwartz

Bernie Schwartz is a U.S. Air Force veteran and author, born on August 25, 1969, in Newark, Ohio. He served during Desert Shield/Storm, and his experiences in the military, as well as his travels to various countries, have influenced his passion for the United States. After his military service, Bernie attended college with the goal of becoming a teacher. During his studies, he was assigned to write and illustrate a children’s rhyming book, which led him to pursue writing further.
